GTS provides safe, reliable, and affordable public transportation – anyone can ride with us!

Pick-ups anywhere in Grundy County for $4.00 each way/person. We also make trips to Joliet three times per day for $6.00 each way/person and Silver Cross Hospital trips for $8.00 each way/person. Both curb-to-curb and door-to-door service is provided Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., excluding federal holidays. Our vehicles are equipped with lifts for mobility device users. Rides can be scheduled for any reason including rides to work, college classes, medical appointments, shopping trips, etc. Children 5 and under ride for free and children over the age of 12 can ride without a guardian. Free rides are provided to eligible Medicaid recipients. We ask that you call to schedule your ride at least 24 hours in advance but same day rides may be available (888) 786-0862.
