Food for seniors age 60 and over and individuals with disabilities
The Church of Hope Food Pantry will provide food in an emergency to people who live in the towns of Gardner, South Wilmington, East Brooklyn and Braceville. Please be honest about your need for food. We ask that you only come to the pantry when you are in an emergency situation regarding food and limit that visit to once every 30 days. The Food Pantry is open on Tuesdays from 3:00 to 5:00P.M. and Saturday 10:00A.M. to Noon. You are asked to call the church office in advance for a appointment (237-8312). Office hours are Monday-Thursday 8:30A.M. to Noon. If you call after hours please leave a message with your name and phone number and we will contact you.
The 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of each month in Minooka. Please contact the church before your first visit to register.
Mobile food pantries are held once a month in varies locations throughout Grundy County, they are run by We Care of Grundy County. Registration begins at 4:15 pm and distribution begins at 5:00 pm, please do not arrive before 4 pm. Please bring a current photo ID or utility bill to prove Grundy County residency. Also bring a laundry basket or wheeled cart to carry your items. Anyone who lives in Grundy County and needs food is welcome to attend. The remaining 2015 scheudle is as follows:

For residents of Morris School District. Must meet the qualifying income (less than 200% of Federal Poverty Level)
Delivers meals to homebound Morris residents regardless of age. Dietary restrictions are available.
Program administered by Community Nutrition Network ($3.50 or donation-bill by month)
Provides a variety of support and services to Grundy residents 60 and older and their caregivers.
Free meals for those who are hungry and/or in need of fellowship. Thursdays at 5:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church, Morris, and Mondays at 5:00 pm at Berst Center in Coal City
