Our free, Breathers’ Support Group meets the third Friday of each month and is for anyone diagnosed with chronic lung disease including COPD, asthma, emphysema, bronchitis, and pulmonary fibrosis. Lead by respiratory therapists, the group gives people with chronic lung disease an opportunity to participate in general discussions about ways to manage their condition, gain emotional support, and share their experiences with others. A 20 minute educational topic is presented at each meeting, with this month’s topic focusing on “Beating the Blues.”
